On July 8, Wang Yong'an, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the provincial port group, led Tang Hongsheng, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager, Zhu Congfu, chief engineer, Huang Liping, assistant general manager, and Shi Yueyue, deputy director of the production business department (general dispatching room) to visit Taicang for marine research and guidance. Liu Bing, member of Jiangsu Ocean Shipping Party Committee and deputy general manager, and the leadership of Taicang Shipping accompanied the survey.
Wang Yong'an and his delegation came to Taicang Shipping Company to give cordial condolences to the company's cadres and employees, and then held the first half of 2021 work report meeting in the container company.
At the meeting, Wang Yong'an fully listened to the work reports on production and operation, reform and integration, and information construction of Taicang Shipping, and pointed out that various work of Taicang Shipping has been steadily promoted, "more than half" has been successfully completed, and the cadres and workers are vigorous, which is worthy of full recognition. For the current work, he stressed that we should think more, fully understand and grasp the connotation of the idea of "focusing on innovation and striving for the best", not only to achieve technological innovation, but also to seek innovation from the organization, system, efficiency, team building and other aspects, and also to seek breakthroughs in scientific and technological innovation and state-owned enterprise reform; We should speed up and spare no effort to promote the integration of container transport, give full play to the role of Taicang as the main force of shipping, and lead the construction of Jiangsu COSCO international and domestic container transport integration pattern.
For the future, Wang Yong'an pointed out that we must focus on strengthening the capacity for sustainable development and do the following: first, strengthen the foundation, vigorously promote the construction of self owned transport capacity, and enhance our own competitiveness and support port capacity; Second, optimize the planning, vigorously develop offshore routes based on Southeast Asia, and establish river, coastal and inland transport systems based on the new development pattern of double circulation; Third, build a team, strengthen the cultivation of talent system and management team, and provide talent support for the shipping sector; Fourth, work hard to actively and steadily promote relevant work closely related to asset securitization; Fifthly, we should ensure safety, take safety as the basic work and the bottom line of life and death, and do a good job of paying close attention to details.
